My passion is Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are the loves of my life and have brought me unconditional love and indescribable joy and they literally “rock” my little world. They stole my heart and my home.
We have lived in the Heartland of America for the past 20+ yrs in a little town called Enid, Oklahoma.
When I purchased my first cavalier 10 yrs. ago I didn’t even know what AKC meant. We were just looking for a pet puppy. My good friend Barb Hill (who now has two of our cavaliers) asked me: “Have you ever heard of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniels”. I told her “no” but went directly to the Internet to look them up.
This is the picture that stole my heart and Winston is in this basket. I immediately fell head over heels in love with him. As time went on I searched for a nice “girlfriend” for Winston. I found Sarah, an import from England. I took some handling classes with her and just fell more and more in love with this breed. Now, many years later, I have learned so much and made lots of mistakes. I want to thank Marilyn Mayfield of Mayfield Cavaliers for taking me under her “wings” and teaching me how to be a topnotch ethical breeder.
Laurel Crown Cavaliers searched diligently for healthy, beautiful cavaliers with good pedigrees that we felt would enhance the puppies being bred. Our goal is to produce happy, healthy, sound, beautiful puppies with loving temperaments; with each litter being carefully planned so as to better the breed standard. Our cavaliers are ALWAYS AKC and CKCSC USA registered which are the only two ethical registries.
